Crazy Brings Everyone Closer

So yesterday as i am riding the train home, I noticed right at the end of my ride that there was a guy going off... Usually I have my Ipod on and tunes blasting, so if this happens a lot, I am not noticing. But this fortunate day I left my Ipod at home and was only partially distracted out of my book.

I look up and hear some guy ranting about Jesus is the Lord and Savior and that he will strike down and judge you.... Now of course i can't see the dude... i can only hear him. I have no clue how it was brought up or anything. But the best part is to look around at the faces of fellow riders. They all are either rolling their eyes or just opening them as big as possible. The guy is continuing to rant about Jesus and preaching about how hell will swallow them up, and all that fun stuff, when the door finally opens. We all spill out and i am trying to stifle my laughter. Of course i can't and mutter under my breath- WOW. The woman next to me heard me and says- No kidding. So we start talking about it as we go up the stairs. I guess some guy bumped into this preaching crazy person and went off. We started to laugh about it and another guy comes up the stairs and joins in the conversation with his eyes equally big. I was just amazed out how one nut job bonded a bunch of us regular commuters together. I guess according to the preaching guy, we are all going to hell....

Haven't been able to read your blog in awhile but WFMU? East Orange? I love that station. I grew up in NJ and lived on 3rd St. by Avenue A in the 80s. I love crazy people, especially those who shout out Bible verse.

Peace,
