So Exciting

Well i know i have been slacking and neglecting my duties here.... but life has been quiet. I am working and nothing too much fun. I have been trying to go out more and hang out with friends. This past weekend I went to the Mermaid parade with my two local CF's. That was fun. Got to see the guy that AW and I drool over from the Freak Show. Hammers nails in his nose and looks like he stepped out of Deadwood. There is just something really hot about him. And a name like Donny Vomit... how can you go wrong? Man i want to take lessons from them. I want to learn to eat fire. But alas, those lessons are 600 dollars and in Coney Island, which is a BITCH to get to.

I did find out some exciting news. I volunteer for WFMU for their record fairs and have been doing so for maybe 7 years? maybe more? Anywho.... I get emailings from them when they are in need of volunteers. I got one recently looking for someone that can run the board for a show. They were willing to train someone to do this. this is for a prerecorded show, so I would get to listen to the show and then get it ready to put on the air. Very exciting. It is a REAL radio station and a step closer to what I am interested in doing. Plus, having the skills to run a radio station board is a nifty skill that I wouldn't mind having. Hooray.
