The Day has FINALLY come

Ahhh yes. Here it is. The day of decision. Please please please don't let this be dragged out for multiple days. I want a clear winner. None of this hanging chads, none of this recount. I want honesty and fairness. Even if McCain does win, I want him to win because he ran a clean race... not because of mysterious reasons. I just want this limbo over with. I want my gut to not be clenched any more and my nerves to not be frazzled. I just want it over with. It's been great for the media, something to talk about and twist and manipulate, but honestly I am tired of taking what they give me and trying to figure out what it really means.

Yes, that is the line i was in this morning to vote. Granted, that was for District 15, where ever that was. I am in District 13 (lucky number 13) so I got to go right inside and vote. Wish they had come out and told us right away so I didn't have to wait in that line for a half hour. But I am glad I did, and would have waited for hours if need be to vote. I did my duty and am proud of myself. I now have every right to bitch if McCain is president and feel proud that I voted for Obama if he gets elected.

Now i just have to wait. People are having parties to watch the results and a local sex shop is offering free "Maverick" vibrators if you voted. So go figure. I can go get a beer and get off! HA! I think i even saw something about Starbuck's giving away something too. Getting anyone and everyone to vote.

What is sad are the people haven't decided. I mean come on... if you have gotten to this point and you have no idea, then you should not be allowed to vote. How can you have no idea? Have you lived in a cave? Are you deaf, dumb and blind? A simpleton perhaps? How can you even pick out what you will wear each day? Do you have someone that does simple things like that for you daily? What is wrong with you?

All in all... hopefully i won't have to go into a political uproar anymore (or for the next 4 years). But i can sigh and take a deep breath because i did my part... hope you did too.

Oops! I guess I shouldn't have voted, since I didn't decide until election day. ;)
