The Search Continues

So my fellow friend, that I am planning on sharing a studio space with, was home yesterday all sicky. We were IMing each other about possible studio spaces. She couldn't find anything. Then found this beautiful amazing studio. This is what is said:

GROUND FLOOR - GREAT LOCATION!! - 2700sf for $3,000 mo. Including Utilities.
Private loading dock - 12ft ceilings - gas heat - Internet -Private bathrooms
Heavy power - 10 MIN WALK TO JOURNAL SQUARE PATH TRAIN - 15 MIN TO NYC -5 Min To HOLLAND TUNNEL - WALK TO EVERYTHING - BUILDING HAS GREAT VIBE WITH -ARTIST- PHOTROGRAPHERS - MAJOR MUSIC RECORDING STUDIO - WOODWORKERS -WELDER- CERAMICS- ENTERTAINMENT CO & MORE. NO FEE-MUST SEE!!

Wow. Everything i could want in a space except for that price tag. Both of us figured that we could pay about $300 each. Yeah........ We need about 8 more people to fill this spot. But how? Who? We would want people that you can trust, since you are leaving tools and expensive stuff in the space. I don't plan on bringing home all of my power tools at the end of each trip to the studio. i could get a lock box, but really......... i would like to think that i can trust my fellow studio mates. Then we thought that it would be great for people that don't ever really use their studios, but have it more like storage space. The last studio space i had, there was one girl like that.

i want this space.... look at it. it's so pretty and spacious and clean. Why can't i be rich? I mean how the hell can i pour concrete in the little closet of a studio space i have now? And even more importantly, how do i do this column project with out making a huge and gigantic mess in my little apartment? ohhhh, how does this happen? Anyone want to donate to our cause?
