Fun with Sitemeter

So for the past couple days i have noticed what people are looking for on Sitemeter. It's rather funny to see what people are up to out there across the land. For a couple days last week, the letters CRA was looked up and that drew people to my posting about crazy. So are people really looking up crazy and who went crazy now? Not our usual celebrities.... right? i mean that is a given and really, do we care that much about them? Well at least i know i don't. Not enough to get a posting. This is about as far of a posting on the status of celebrity craziness.

Now the last two days was take your pet to work searches. Is there a special day that people do this? Is this a holiday? And do people really need to look it up to see if it's okay? I mean hello? I take mine to work with me when i get the chance. I doubt he enjoys it really. I think he would rather be on the bed at home sleeping. But i enjoy him next to me and i know my fellow coworkers love the distraction. Especially a fuzzy one.

My other favorites are the art ones. People making random inquiries about Jeff Koons or Joel Shapiro. it's fun to see what the world out there is looking for in the art world and that they happen to stumble upon my blog. I should probably post more about my art world jobs then, just to keep promoting the fun.

My friend JWmade a comment about how we should experiment with it and draw more people to our blogs by saying random things that people would most likely look up. I don't know think that would hold anyone's attention, as they seem to click on then off right away when they see it's not even close to what they were looking for. So how do we hold people's attention? How do we attract them to keep reading? Witty titles? Fancy pictures? Great writing? Interesting topics? Not sure, but if any of you know the mysterious answer.... chime in. In the meantime, i am just going to do what i do and write about what i know and what is going on in my head and life.

My hits have gone way up since I actually wrote a post titled "mama sex son," since that's (sadly) the way a majority of folks find me. Some of them (for reasons I can't understand) seem to stick around. Maybe they think I'm hiding the sex stories somewhere.

Yeah. Folks fine me every single day with the phrase "I Hate My Husband."

For real. Every Day.
