Wow am i busy this coming up weeks. Between packing, which still sucks by the way, i will be going to see the Daily Show tomorrow. i got the tickets a while back, but i can hardly believe the time has come. I guess it was always so far away that i never thought i was REALLY going to go. I also found out that my guest that night is Matt Groening of Simpsons fame. I am pissed though..... i am missing out on Christopher Walken by ONE night. Damn! Then on Saturday, I am going to see Gogol Bordello. The soo freaking rock. It will be such an amazing show. Nothing like gypsy punk to make the evening complete.
One good thing is I will be getting rid of some of the clutter this weekend. We are doing a stoop sale to get rid of the excess clutter. and man do i have clutter. i am a total pack rat. It's kinda bad. the second something goes away, i find that i need it. isn't it always the way? but if it means less that i have to move up 4 flights of stairs.. then so be it.
Lastly, next week, on Wednesday, I am going up to Montreal. Since I am moving, I have no time for a proper vacation. And of course proper meaning getting that passport stamped. Hell, if I don't have kids, then i need to travel! not that i want kids...... that is a whole different story. At least Montreal is a 6 hour drive away and it will feel like i have left the country. People speaking French, outdoor cafes and good friends. I am excited to see all of them. I love Montreal. Almost moved there when George W got in office the second time around. I seriously looked into it. I HATE that man. And after this term in office, he hasn't done anything to make me change my mind.
So, busy busy busy.
